About this business

Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

First time to Savannah, found this place with a Google search, and my husband and I couldn't have been happier!!! The atmosphere is fun, the staff is great, and the food is AMAZING; I also got a cocktail which came in a signature mug! My husband and I are thinking about going back for another fabulous meal, and this time taking the tour. Pricey, but most definitely worth every penny! Oh, and make sure you check out the gift shop upstairs!

Wonderful food, drinks and atmosphere. Kid friendly, even our 18 month old enjoyed the fried green tomatoes.

Really fun place to eat! We timed it just right because we had no wait time, and by the time we left it was 1.5 hours!!! Delicious burgers and sandwiches. Crab melt on rye was fabulous!!! She-crab soup also good. Definitely a tourist spot, but worth it for excellent food and staff! ❤️

The hostess at the counter was awesome. We got seated right away and we were hungry so we decided to go for the all you can eat buffet. The food was excellent. We got to have a dessert with it which was either peach cobbler or key lime pie. Well I had to try the peach cobbler since it's my favorite dessert. It was really good!! I like this place a lot.
