Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

I thought the food and the service were both very, very good . My complaint would be at least with the chicken they give you so much more then you can eat .It seems wasteful. I would like the offer of a smaller portion a large breast, thigh, leg and wing I think is over doing it but, this is not to take away from the fact it was delicious
Seafood was everything, service was great as well. Despite the 30 min wait, browsing the gift store made the wait worth it!
We ordered a bottle of The Pirate House Cabernet Sauvignon and loved it! Our dinners were delicious! Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. After dinner, moved over to the bar area to finish our wine. The bartenders were all great and atmosphere fun. We made some new friends and enjoyed the house tour with a delightful pirate, then a quick visit to the gift shop upstairs before leaving. We will be back for more, thank you!
