Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

My husband and I had lunch here for our anniversary yesterday. Our food was great and our waiter was awesome. We definitely recommend trying this restaurant out when in Savannah.
A must go to place for great food, history and great atmosphere. Dont forget to go upstairs for your souvenirs. We will definitely eat there again, and again and again.
Amazing historic atmosphere. We got the buffet and found it a little underwhelming for the cost. The ambiance and wait staff made up for it. I would highly recommend it to any future first time Savannah visitors.

The pirate house lives up to its name! The food and service were impeccable! Had the Shrimp Creole, it was super!
A great place to stop for a bit of refreshment, served by the best server (Lauren) and in comfortable surrounds. Ordering just an appetizer, it was enough food to call it dinner. I recommend this House for any traveler.
