Since 1753, The Pirate's House has been welcoming visitors to Savannah with a bounty of delicious food and drink and rousing good times. Situated a scant block from the Savannah River, The Pirate's House first opened as an inn for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Here seamen drank their grog and discoursed, sailor fashion, on their exotic high seas adventures from Singapore to Bombay and from London to Port Said.

It was ok, not the best seafood we have had in Savannah. But, hey, so many wonderful choices & I kinda compared it to what I experienced 10 years ago which is not fare. Our service was spectacular & we enjoyed the history.

Food was very good with the exception of the collards (too vinegary) sweet potatoes (not sweet or enough cinnamon). Server (John) was AWESOME!! Friendly & knowledgeable. The pirate character was very informative about the history of the restaurant. Will come back to take a real tour. She crab soup was perfect!! All of our drinks were amazing and shrimp and grits were some of the best I’ve had!
We had GREAT food and more than enough of it. Also I'd recommend the brief tour following your dinner which gives a history of the building. WAY FUN!
