My husband and I started coming here with family about 8 years ago. We would usually come down for July 4th week, it was always busy during that time which is to be expected. About 3 years ago we started coming down in April with our daughter and it's obviously a slower time of the year so much less traffic. The lots are too small. We had a hard time getting on and off our site. Also bath house did not have hot water 5 of the 7 days we were there which was not good. Did love the pool area, playground was nice but could us a few swings. Ice cream shop needed more variety they were out of several kinds. We had a good week but will probably go back to another neighboring camp ground next time.
We had a great time! Fun for kids, great pool and splash pad.
Whenever we come to South Carolina this is where we stay. People friendly, clean and plenty to do. Close to places to eat and to have fun. Love this place
We've always loved Pirateland campground.We went there with our children years ago and just went back with our grand children.Its not a place for someone who has a problem parking their big rigs(no pull through) but a great place for kids.The beach is great and the pool area is wonderful. If there is a downfall it would be that parents don't watch or teach their children respect for others but this isn't only here. It's a nice vacation spot😀
