We were here for the weekend at the camp site. Enjoyed ourselves as we always do. If there was a negative, we didn't have cable because of some type of switch over. We have an antenna on top of our camper so we were able to program our tv to that and get channels. At least we were able to watch the Duke /Carolina game. It looks like you have to have a digital tv in the campground to pick up cable.

I really like it it's a Very nice campground resort, easy access to beach, grounds are kept clean, wish the shops and arcade were open year round, they provide us with free trash bags trash pick up and complimentary snacks and samples, also think a park gas pump or stand would be great . Over all I love it.

Been staying here over twenty years...will not stay at any other local campground. The camper sites are very spacious and nice!

Visitor fees should be waived in off season. In Feb and March nothing is open so all you will do is visit friends.

Made a reservation in Dec to come in Jan , swapped it to April because of bad weather where i live ( Snow ) was charged 25 .00 for canceling and 1 nights rent 57.00 ... Thank goodness the State Park in right down the street 32.00 a night .... and Ocean Lakes and Lakewood is next door... because if a campground is that hard up to charge ypu you in the winter , i will never be back in the summer ... plus its run down and not clean on top of that ... SO LONG PIRATELAND!!
