At Pioneer Tree Farm we raise our trees organically, and use no pesticides as we contend with weeds and other tree pests. (Occasionally we do treat some invasive hardwood species with an herbicide). Our motivation is love of nature trees, wildlife, weather, the land and what we sell is an experience along with your Christmas tree. Wonderful place for responsibly grown Christmas Trees and hands on demonstrations of candle making, cooking over wood fire, working with wood with manual tools. Perfect place to get some presents and souvenirs made out of natural materials. People at the farm were wonderful.
Authentic Christmas tree experience. The smells of real trees, tractor rides, and plenty of other fun things like hot chocolate, cast iron cooking over an open flame, candle making, games, and even some really cool hand wood working tools! My favorite part is that they treat the land with respect and allow a lot of native plants to grow in between the trees! Wonderful place that anyone should be happy to support. I highly recommend starting a family tradition of coming to Pioneer Tree Farm
We liked everything about this place, friendly helpful staff, wood & candle making, home made goods, the cocoa & coffee, wagon ride and the price, just wish they had taller short needle pine's!
