If you are an adult (especially a woman) seeking an ASD and/or ADHD assessment, I hope that you don’t make the same mistake I did in choosing Dr. Duff as your assessor. I unfortunately did not recognize this self-professed “expert’s” lack of a waiting list as the incredible red flag that it was — please save your time, money and energy to be assessed by a competent professional. I have been working on myself for the last few years and decided that the last component that was needed was a psychological assessment. I contacted Duff Psychological and was told they weren't doing assessments, I was disappointed but understood. So imagine my surprise when 5 months later, they called me and asked me if I was still interested! I said yes and we begun a few months later. We brought our 13 year old son in for a psych-ed assessment. Our older son was assessed elsewhere so I have some comparison. The experience with Dr. Duff was wonderful. Professional office, lots of help with billing and figuring out insurance (which minimized our out-of-pocket), and most importantly a very thorough assessment and understanding of our sons needs and strengths. I chose Dr. Duff based on a very positive recommendation from a friend and I would also highly recommend him!
Dr. Duff and his staff have provided excellent services. His assessment and findings helped us tremendously to understand our son better. We highly recommend Duff Psychological Services.
