I first came here in the early 70's .. it is still just as good as it ever was. My last visit was Dec 7, 2015. Absolutely the best steak ever!!!!
Used to come here all the time. So we decided to start having a club meeting there once Thursday out of every month with around 40 to 50 people all buying drinks and food and didn't have a problem when we had to pay $50 which we get credited back to us just to kind of hold the spot. Until they decided they wanted to make it $100 with $50 non-refundable fee and totally wanted to be rude about the situation. Started out at the Buena Park location on Knott & La Palma Ave in the 70's. Still my favorite steakhouse. Has changed a bit over the years but I don't care. They do need to do some sprucing up and every now and then the food and service is not up up to par, but most of the time it's great. Will alway be my Birthday dinner place!
Great steaks, Great service, nice atmosphere. It was reasonably priced as well for steaks.
This place was a favorite of my family when I was a kid. However my hubby and I had dinner here a couple months ago and we're underwhelmed. The building is in need a a fix-up, the food was only ok and mostly cold, and out server obviously didn't want to be there. Sadly, we probably won't go back.
