I have lived at Pine Manor since 2021. Overall I have had a good experience, especially with the staff. Maintenance is always kind and helpful. The office staff has always been very accommodating in my experience. My only pits are, because it’s an older building it is a bit noisy. A lot of the residents slam doors and aren’t very mindful of how the sound travels from their apartment and the hallways. The hallways themselves could be kept up better. Maintenance went into the wrong apartment (mine), left the place a mess & smelling awful, and broke something that didn't need to be fixed in the first place. Then it took them over a week to fix it. Also my car was stolen last year and they didn't have a security camera in the parking lot. When I asked if there was a camera they said they had been considering it. Car got broken into twice in less than 6 months while the car parked in the apartment parking spot. Management refuses to install cameras. At least 2 other incidents that I became aware of, and one of them happened last night. It doesn't feel safe to park your car here anymore. Otherwise, the location is good. Close to fox chase station.

While I have loved the almost 10 years I've been here, I do take small issue with the rising rent every year with no improvements made to the apartment. Was told they were looking to adding a dishwasher to my kitchen. Nothing came to fruition. I wouldn't mind the increases if there were upgrades made to the apartment. UPDATE: The intercom for my apartment has been inoperable for months. The new property manager comes off as condescending as well.
