It’s been a few years since this happened but I have to share. My kitten Amelia was suffering terribly I remember calling my other local vet that I was use to going to (I didn’t know where else to go even though I had bad experiences with them), I called the other local vet they were going to charge me a huge amount for getting my suffering pet in on short notice.
