This drive is not for the faint of heart but the views are breathtaking!
Awesome! Just a great adventure that takes you to the top of Pikes Peak, I do suggest taking thick gloves, pants for sure, a winter jacket/coat, a beanie etc. When you reach the top it's 20 or so degrees with a wind chill that could take it down to 10 degrees with � wind. Enjoy! Your journey in Colorado.
The drive is absolutely beautiful. If you are afraid of heights, beware (but go!).
We really enjoyed it. 4 to 8 inches of snow on the summit. The fog and clouds broke though for fabulous views. Donuts were perfect too
