This review is specifically of the store manager, Jesse. My husband and I have been regular customers at this Pike for years. We have spent over $16,000 there over the past three years, and we have also used their landscape services. We’re often there weekly, and we know several of the employees well. About a year or so ago, we hired them to do a landscape installation. One of the items they chose to plant was a small but expensive Thunderhead Japanese Black Pine that was $600. Bought some pine straw at the Buckhead store and asked 2 employees, including the one checking me out, if there was senior discount. Was told by both employees that that it was 15% and applied to all items. When I got home, I realized the discount wasn't applied. When I spoke to Zack, the manager, he said the discount doesn't apply to pine straw and refused to apply the discount as a courtesy for an employee error. I was thinking about using Pike's for a landscape redesign, but that won't be happening.

Excellent selection, organized, and bright. Much more than plants--candles, cards, outdoor furniture, local jams & honey. Great place for a quick gift. Staff was helpful.
