For over 20 years I had been suffering from severe sciatica pain, numbness, burning sensation and increasing weakness down through my left buttock, leg and into my foot. As a nurse working in the medical field on a medical surgical unit for five years. I was not impressed with Dr. Park at all. He was belittling and rude to my mother. When she voiced a concern to him while she was still in the hospital after her surgery he laughed at her and told her what she was experiencing didn't make any sense and it was in her head. Dr Park and his staff are awesome. I was having terrible back and R leg pain/numbness/tingling and found out that I had a herniated lumbar disc. I tried everything else, physical therapy, steroids, epidural injections, etc and nothing helped. I was miserable! Thank goodness I was referred to Dr Park. I had a microdiscectomy and my pain was immediately better after surgery. I am three months post op, still pain free, and back at work as a Nurse full time. Dr. Park is an awesome surgeon. After struggling with groin, hip, and thigh pain for months I was referred to Dr. Park at Piedmont Ortho. He came in with my MRI and in a friendly easy to understand presentation showed me exactly what was wrong. He listened to and addressed my concerns with direct answers to my questions. I am now 3 weeks post surgery. Dr. Park went in from the back, performed an L3, L4 laminectomy and fusion. Dr. Park performed my neck surgery and i have had a 100% recovery with no pain at all. He has a good sense of humor, and was very knowledgeable with a great attitude.

I'm writing this review after reflecting on my husband's visit. I wondered if it would be worth it but for the sake of being heard, it is necessary. In late 2019, my husband was involved in a motorcycle accident. After many consultations, appointments, XRays, and MRIs for ongoing pain, we ended up at Ortho-Atlanta w. Dr. Park. I waited over an hour wearing a mask and light headed in pain with no apology or acknowledgement. I was offered injections and no review at all of my MRI. After I came back to get my own results, I find I have several severe issues the radiologist detailed and these weren’t mentioned in the least.

Years of back pain Gone! Dr. Park is on it, he told me his job is to make sure I forget I was ever in pain. Believe it at this point 12 weeks after Spine Fusion.
