My mom was admitted to the ER today. Her condition makes her not always remember important details of her medical condition, so I am very concerned that no one was allowed in the ER with her. I understand we can't have a ton of people, but not allowing her to have an advocate for her health and well being is wrong. We did not receive a call requesting medical history and can only hope someone read the paperwork we sent in with her and looked at the bottles of medication we sent in as well. RecommendedMy mother sees Dr. Edmonds, and he takes excellent care of her. He listens to her concerns, and is extremely interested in her overall well being. We would recommend this practice to anyone!
was discharged for non compliance because the doctor didnt want to call Mediciad and do prior authorization paperwork. instead of doing that she decided to discharge me after i requested multiple times for her to please speak to them about getting me something through them that i can afford. i shouldnt have to get a good rx card if the doctor does this paperwork or looks on the blue choice medicad site like they are supposed to do.
