RecommendedI was admitted through the ER yesterday with chest pain. It was quite frightening as I’ve never had any heart issues. Turned out my heart is fine but reflux caused my chest pain. I want to give a shout out to everyone that helped me. Dr Evans in the ER calmed my fears, explained everything and took time to answer all my questions. He was very nice and personable. RecommendedI had to be hospitalized there for 3 days n i really am proud to have had cathy parrish as my nurse she was so kind n politie. couldnt have asked for a better nurse. n the food was awesome even though couldnt eat alot at the time .it was way better then use to be. n you get to choose your meals a day ahead. I highly recommend this hospital n the nurse in ellijay Er named Nikki Jones. she made the transfer n all to hospital so easy n comfortable. thank you ladies so much!!
RecommendedUsed the ED yesterday. I have been in health care for 25 plus years. I was very impressed. The professional staff, timely test, etc. Given the current state of COVID I felt very safe. Thank you to all the staff.
I have lived in Jasper my entire life and Piedmont Mountainside has never been worth anything. We have and always will continue to go to Northside Cherokee. Unless you are okay with sitting for 4-5 hours no matter how urgent your issue is then I do not recommend going to Piedmont Mountainside. The nurses and doctors act like they are respectful and nice but they are slow and do not care of the severity of your condition.
I have been going her for years, w/no issues. I saw the previous doctor, Julie Braddy-Roberts then the NP. When they both left and the NP was replaced w/Amy, I was so happy. Amy was great and I loved seeing her. I've never felt so at ease. She recently left and I had to see some else. It really does something to you when you try to tell this new person what you are experiencing and they instead bring up your previous mental health and tell you maybe your pain is all in your head. Why is your billing department so rude? Do you not feel compassion towards others? Are you an absolute psycho? Then the Piedmont billing department is perfect job for you.
Don’t go to Rockdale if ur having a miscarriage they wont do anything to help you. They gave me over the counter Tylenol for pain and wouldn’t give me a dnc like I requested. So 2 days from the date I went I’m in Tremendous pain!
RecommendedI delivered my baby boy Ripp there in July and the entire staff was amazing. They really treated us like we were celebrities or someone special. I can’t say enough great things about the staff. I’d previously used their ER for my daughter and they were also great! They had us in and out of the ER in less than an hour.
