Just want to give a large THANK YOU to the ICU 4 East team that took such great care of my mom during such a scary time for all of us. They were so patient and understanding. They were also so very good with my mom. I wish I knew of a thank you system for them there but I can’t go in due to Covid. RecommendedToo often people only come to complain and not enough people mention their good experiences. First let me say that I used to work at Eastside so I think that makes me even a harsher critic. Last Monday my husband ended up in the ER for a possible strangulated hernia and today he had outpatient surgery to remove said hernia. worst emergency room i have ever been to. We left AFTER 6 hours and 23 minutes. SHUT IT DOWN. Patient threw up in front lobby a nurse threw a blanket over it and it wasn't cleaned up until my wife said to call a janitor after 35 minutes. The worst hospital i have ever been too.
RecommendedMy daughter came tonight with an anxiety attack over the death of her dad. The sweetest PA helped her tonight through a difficult time. We all cried and she gave wonderful words of encouragement. Thank you.
So let me tell you about what happened to me today at Eastside medical center in Snellville. As you know my dad has been there in CPU for way over a week now and isn’t doing too well. Anyway, they have a strict rule about one visitor going up at a time which is fine. Today however mom was supposed to meet with me and a nurse in the waiting room so they can update her on dad’s situation because we hadn’t had any updates for several days. RecommendedMy veteran dad had a heart attack and was treated like a second class citizen! The social workers are horrible people who laugh in your face and let you wait up to five hours and deny their help rather than actually help you . If you do not like your career than you Should leave . I have never experienced this horrible of customer service and I have lived in 3 countries , been to 68 counties and been in the hospital in 5 countries and this is so horrible to have a case worker laugh in your face when your parent is dying ... ... read more
