Carrboro clinic is the absolute worst! The front desk employees there are rude and lazy. They almost never answer the phone, and on the off chance they do, they only do it to hang up on you while claiming to transfer your call. The doctor does not spend anytime listening to what youre saying and rushes you out. The blood lab is the worst. They’re always leaving early and the current people working it have no idea how to draw blood. They also forget to put on gloves, and reuse a needle after it’s been uncapped. FNP Leslie Sharpe at the Sylvan Community Health Clinic in Snow Camp, NC saw a friend of mine today. The knowledgeable and insightful quality of care that Leslie provided surpassed the care I have experienced in many traditional medical facilities. My friend arrived despondent, and feeling she had no options. She left with a diagnosis, a treatment plan and hope. Leslie treated her with respect and compassion that I just did not expect from a rural community health clinic. Quite impressive.
