The experience with this practice and Dr. Straughn has been nothing short of horrific!! I was in the office two weeks ago. Putting aside Dr. Straughn’s inability to smile, connect, and communicate any pleasantries before beginning the examination, it was the way she carelessly and improperly conducted the examination, not listening nor focusing that was most disturbing. The worse experience I have ever had at an ER. Waited over 7 hrs and still wasn't seen by Dr Brittney but she complained the entire time about being the only doctor on duty. There were no urgency in caring for patients or getting them out. Instead of sitting at the nurses station complaining and holding conversations that doesn't have anything to do with patients, do your job Dr Brittney. Remember you chose this profession. This provider is absolutely fantastic! She listened to all of my concerns - she addressed them and made me feel validated in my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone having neurological issues. I'm thankful that she gave me the insight I needed to improve my daily life.

My brother was a patient at this hospital for about 2 months. He was very ill and we trusted this hospital with his care. But it is so sad when money can determine the type of care a patient receives and when the one department you would think would do all that they can to help the patient and their family, turns her back on you and does absolutely nothing to help you, is so sad I am specifically speaking of the Social Services Person. The staff , was very professional My wait time was normal for a emergency room I felt I was in good hands, my only concern with my vist is the billing ,normally when I've gone to the hospital I received one bill, so far I have received bills from eight different billing places , other than that wonderful care and service

I wouldn't bring my dog to this place. Nursing care is non-existent; they sit at the desk, joke around, and ignore your loved ones when they need emergency help. Go anywhere else.

I have been in a Piedmont Fayette Georgia hospital with a broken hip and was told they would sit me outside the ER door if I did not submit to a test for a stroke, in fear of not getting treated I submitted to the $8000.00 test which was negative. The ER doctor did not bother to inform me I could not get my leg fixed for 3 days until the medication from the test was out of my blood system. If anything she deserves negative stars. Her entire practice is a SCAM. We were forced to come to 3 appointments before she'd even check our prescriptions. Then it took 2 full months to receive my glasses. Now she's withholding my medical records which, you guessed it, is ILLEGAL. This woman is insane and should not be able to run any kind of business, let alone a medical business. Avoid her at ALL COSTS.
