the people in er at desk including security are very rude something needs to be done about this we were there 2-8-24 at 10pm and was badly treated they was not busy but they made us wait extra long time which is not right

I had a nightmare experience with Piedmont. I think the Medical system has been captured by a woke Ideology. My kind, good hearted, trusting, 78 year old daddy passed from very RECKLESS , SUSPICiOUS and QUESTIONABLE care at Piedmont, Fayetteville Ga I found them to be low quality at best . My father was a good man and deserved better than this treatment he got in April of 2023. I would love to give this clinic negative stars if i could. The doctor i saw (Dr. Garnica) was great but the clinic itself is just beyond bad. Hard to get in touch with anyone and when you do message through the MyChart you get tons and tons of attitude, especially from MA Leeshai J. I went in for blood work and also got eye rolls and attitude from their phlebotomy staff. Getting a refill from this group was an Act of God. No thanks. The ER does not deserve a star. The communication between staff and patient is unacceptable. There was no explanation of plan of care. The nurse practioner just peeked her head in and said "I'm placing orders for you". There was no introduction or explanation of what was being ordered. There was no introduction of whom the person was prior to administering medication and the badge was not legible. The doctor seemed to be in a hurry and did not ask if I have any questions. I wouldn't take my worst enemy here. This place is awful. I have no idea how they won an award because they are the worst care. Nurses are awful. The hospital in Monroe Georgia needs to be shut down. They sent me home and I ended up being rushed by ambulance to Piedmont Athens in Athens ga for surgery. I could have died. It wasn't just the stomach flu like that old lady in the ER.

Dr. Moultrie hanlded an issue with a medical assistant very unprofessionally. I was shocked how unprofessional this provider could conduct himself in certain situations.

I agree with one review, I would not send my dog to them. Father was sick with infection from a cathither bag which made his bad heart worse. Some nurses were very caring but doctor had no bedside manners or compassion. Seems older people are not worth saving. these days since the the UN controls them Poor daddy had to lay without IV for days after x ray caused a allergic reaction . Died a few days later then try to say he was old and ready to go home, when he wanted to go home to his family, They are very cold and heartless... read more

My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and was admitted via the ER with a UTI. Anyone with knowledge of MS knows that UTI's can affect MS more severely than a normal person. Piedmont Midtown is a Neuro hospital, but you wouldn't know it from the way they treated my wife for a week. The doctor went as far as to try to have my wife committed to a psych hospital, which I had to fight, even though the psych evaluation nurse said it was due to medical complications from the UTI and not psychological.
