Just What I Needed!!!!!!!! – Had dinner at Piecoras just the other night and It Was FANTASTIC. Slices made to order, The salads were huge and NOT Soggy. The Staff as always has the best snappy wit around and they were playing my favorite song on the radio. Can you get any better?
How about some gourmet frozen pizza? – There is nothing special about the pizza at piecora's. The waitress that seated me didn't say a word to my company and gave us a number of unpleasant looks while seating us. The waiters that served us did a little better and did seem friendly so I will give that to them. Though I've heard its very unlikely. Anyway, the pizza itself was boring. You might as well go to your local supermarket and buy a frozen DiGiorno pizza. It _will_ taste better and save you some money too. As far as piz... read more
Bad Pizza – Waited for 15 minutes to be seated in a back room. Pizza was no better than Dominos
NY Style? Not even close – 30 years in NY and eight trips to Italy, I've never tasted pizza like this... It is a testament to how far North West of NY and Italy we are in Seattle that Piecora's even gets mentioned as a decent pizzaria. My highschool cafeteria did a better job. The sauce is over seasoned and under cooked ( 8 hours minimum to get the acidity out) The cheese is flavorless chewing gum and the dough tastes as if Wonderbread made it. Please take the "NY style" out of the advertizing!
Best Italian style pizza – Piecora deserves a much better rating than the most recent ones. I come from a place where Italian pizzas are just called pizzas and have THIN crust. For people unfamilliar with this style of pizza, it requires a fork to be eatten. What is NY style anywhy, if you eat with your finger and are disturbed by over-attentive waiters? Tasty pizzas that are a blast and a laid-back atmosphere.
weak drinks / great pizza – Great New York style pizza, best I have found in Seattle so far. Lots of toppings and creative pizzas. DO NOT order drinks hear. Usually the person behind the register has no idea how to bartend. Last time they two count poured my whiskey, then added ice, then coke. Last time I make the misake of spending 4 dollars on a drink there.
Average at best – It's amusing that some people think that their pizza opinion is more valid, just because they claim to be from New York. My coffee opinion is not the final word just because I live in Seattle. The fact is that whether Piecora's is "New York style" or not is irrelevant: It's not got enough sauce, tastes like a mom-and-pop Pagliacci (not a good thing), and the service is severely lacking. If people go here because it's a convenient neighborhood pizza place, okay. Just don't claim that the pizza is anything sp... read more
Best in Seattle – Definitely the best in Seattle, we lived in NY, and we lived in Chicago. NY style the best and this is close to NY as you can get on the west coast.
Good Eats! – Great pizza, great staff, good prices. Piecora's is the best!
