EAST COAST REPRESENTS – I moved here about a year ago from NY and have been looking for restaurants that make me feel like Im at home. Diners, Bars, and of course Pizza. Piecoras makes a pizza that would make all NY' kers feel at home. Great food good and value along with East Coast authenticity. Fugetaboutit'.......
Service vs Pizza... Take your pick – Overall, Piecora's is a great place to go if you can get over the extremely and consistently poor service. Ive been there three times... each time about six months apart... and the lack of service and common decency left me starting my meal in a bad mood (Three strikes and your out I guess). The pizza is good, however, which leads me to my most suitable recommendation... DELIVERY!
great pizza nice staff – BEST pizza in seattle. WHEN it comes to NEW YORK PIZZA THESE GUYS HAVE IT FIRST TIME I HAD THEIR PIZZA I WAS SO HAPPY TO FIND EAST COAST PIZZA ON THE WEST COAST PLEASE KEEP IT UP PIECORAS ROCKS
Placed an order for delivery... – And it never arrived. Noone called to let me know that it wouldn't be sent. I found out by waiting 1.5 hours and then falling asleep. Nice first impression! Romio's need not worry...I'll keep them on speed dial! I wish the dears the best of luck. This former New Orleanian just doesn't do bad restaurant service! Deal with this one at your own risk!
Bravissimo! – Best Pizza in town, hands down! Anyone who says otherwise knows nothing of Seattle. New Yorkish - great crust, tasty toppings...
disappointed every time – I've gone here several times for group meetings and lunches. The pizza is average every time and for the price I would hope for a bit more. The owner is super nice and I like that he gives money to charities, so I don't mind too terribly that I paid the eat there. But every time the waitstaff were rude and self-absorbed. One even yelled at us once. If you're looking for a rougher place to hang sure; but if you want good fun ambience I would look elsewhere.
Best in Seattle – Having gone to UW for my undergrad, I've had my fair share of Seattle pizza. However, none compare to Piecora's. I now live 60 miles north and every time I'm in Seattle, I go back to Piecora's. The calzones are to die for, but bring your appetite b/c they are huge! They offer a hip, low-key atmosphere with a variety of beers on tap and spirits to wash down the great food. Service is fast, friendly w/ some added personality. High value food & service w/out a high price tag!
FABULOUS – AS A TRANSPLANTED NEW YORKER- I SEARCHED THE SEATTLE AREA FOR 2 YEARS FOR GOOD PIZZA BEFORE I FOUND PIECORAS.NOW WE WILL MAKE THE DRIVE FROM PORT ANGELES JUST TO HAVE PIZZA THERE.ITS THE REAL THING,
Not bad... – I've been to Piecora's a few times and it's not too bad. For Seattle, I would say this is "good pizza", which means that it is edible. If I was hungry(again) and in the 'hood, I'd stop by for a slice or two. As for all the comparisons to NY pizza...puleeeze...enough already. Trust me, I wish it were true, but it isn't. Oh how I wish...
