Love this bar. The bar staff goes above to make you feel welcome. And Specs is a wonderful cook. His sour kraut soup was a big hit.

Artichoke dip was the best we have ever had. Ribs had good flavor, but I didn't like that I was getting waaaaay too much non-meat bites. Finding broken bones is a red flag for me also. Would not order ribs again. Red velvet cake was excellent also.
Wanted to try, but were yelled at in parking lot since the kids headed towards chocolate shop down road first to get candy before they closed. I stated we were all planning on eating there, yet that didn't seem to matter to crazy lady in red. I ended up taking scared kids to a more friendly place after they got their chocolate!
I have ate here countless times and today was the first day in my life I purposely left a 5 cent tip. The service was incredibly bad. 10 minute wait for our beverage order, then never received a refill offer until the meal was finished. The server walked by my empty ice tea glass twice. We were one of only two tables in the dining room. Absolutely no effort at all!
Excellent prime rib, great service, good wine and superior view. Favorite restaurant in Duluth.
Great food and outstanding service. Adriana in the bar was exceptionally helpful and very talkative. Cheers to continued success.
