Once upon a time this was a theater space, affordable for small companies. They produced hundreds of plays there, a lot of them world premieres by local playwrights. A whole lot of people, thousands over the years, came and saw everything from classics to weird experimental stuff, usually for an affordable, accessible ticket price. That space brought a whole lot of folks together to do some amazing creative work. Now it's a pool. that a few people can enjoy. That's fun, I guess.
