This is going to be the next fight and the Republicans are already planning and passing laws under cover of darkness hoping we wont notice. We really need to be preemptive on this one or we will end up as shocked as when we got Trump. There is a bill HR 676 that supports Universal Health Care, aka Health Care for All, Medicare expanded. Research it. Google it. It's been around since 2003 and has not been able to get traction due to Private health insurance companies.
It's great to see physicians getting behind a Single-Payer healthcare system. My experience as a consumer of for-profit healthcare is that denial = larger profits for health insurance companies, and more money for the stockholders and CEOs. For-profit healthcare is a hoax.
Take the greedy health insurance people out of govt. healthcare: Single Payer works and works well. Insurance brokers suck their ungodly profits off the top without doing anything for benefit; Now they are selling life insurance to old, old people without an exam history; 5 years from now, upon death, beneficiaries will learn that that Insurance has ceased to exist as the company that sponsored it has closed.
