preferred temp agency – I've worked for several agencies over the years and in all sorts of industries, from office positions to catering, you name it. I have never felt more "at home" than with Philly Temps. Great Experience!! – My girlfriend got a good permanent job through them and she introduced me, I have had a great experience working at Philly Temps. They really seem to care about everyone. Working at the convention is long sometimes but you can earn a lot of money in one week and lunch breaks are paid plus it's not hard. And Tracey is really fun to work for, everyone is nice. I have referred a bunch of my friends and they like it a lot too, we work almost every week, it's a good team of people. Overall I like it a lot.

A joke. – Your qualifications are somewhat irrelevant at this temp agency, and you are unlikely to get paid more than $10 at most per hour (while Philly Temps skims $6 off what was originally a $16/hour pay). DO NOT work at the Conventions -- you get worked like a dog with minimum 10-12 hour shifts, being allotted breaks in ridiculous intervals (15 minutes, 30 minutes), and just generally treated like an idiot. Poor Temp Agency – In sum, I would not recommend Philly Temps on the grounds that although they may be able to find employment, they are extremely poor in managing clients. Every time I tried to contact them, they would not properly respond in a timly manner. Also, while there I was rescheduled wihtout being informed, had improper taxes taken out of paychecks, and most importantly was ignored after requesting a new temp position, even after giving them one months notice.

Philly Temps & Perm – I feel most temp agencies at this time of year probably have a surplus of applicants with the economy as it is, but since I spent hours testing at this agency I deserved more than the misrepresentation Philly Temps provided. I relocated to Philadelphia and applied for a temp-to-perm position with Philly Temps. I feel my credentials are better than average. Great service! – Liz & Christine Faville have developed one of the best businesses in the city. They are large enough to handle the big projects, but small enough where you can talk to the owner, if you have a need. The staff is friendly and the candidates are always top notch. We used Philly Temps 3 years ago to fulfill an admin position and that individual is now one of our top loan officers. In fact, she was promoted to Vice President last month. Worst Temp Agency To Work For – I had a horrible experience as a temp at PhillyTemps. I was told they had a placement opportunity for me and asked that I call to discuss the details the next week. Of course, I called to follow up at the beginning of the week and was told by a manager that their client was not available because of the holiday.
