I have never heard anything but the greatest of compliments of the surgical staff and everyone I've encountered from bistro staff to maintance to janitorial personelle have been efficient and knowledgeable and helpful.
Great experience at Phillip Eye Institute. Things are always nerve racking for us when we have to go to new places with my special needs son. However, everyone at PEI was fantastic and worked well with him. As well as allowed me to stay by his side and help insure that he understood what was happening. Thanks everyone!!
Had a procedure yesterday. Needed to be flat on my back during and for one hour after procedure. Half way through my lower back went into spasm. Managed to get through procedure. Afterward with pain at 7 range was told had to simply endure. I was writhing. Blood pressure up. Pulse up. Told my record showed kidney problems so could not have any pain med. I am a chiropractor. I know my full medical record. No kidney problems. I think the docs enjoyed making sure this was a painful and terrible experience.
They were very courteous, professional, and genuinely nice. I brought my aunt there for cataract surgery at 6 AM yesterday morning, (Dec 6th), they took very good care of my aunt! While I wait, are usually play around on my phone… It's cool that they have electrical junction boxes all over the lobby, see you can plug your phone in anywhere it's great!!! I have had one procedure done at Phillips just 2 weeks ago and another coming up in 2 weeks. Their process was super efficient and organized from registration thru completion of the procedure. Every single person I interacted with - nurses, doctors, technicians, office staff, etc - were professional, empathetic, had tons of patience, and experience! They all made me feel so taken care of. Thank you Phillips - your team is incredible!
I've this far had two procedures done at Phillips Eye, one yesterday and the other earlier this year. Both experiences were amazing. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and caring. Other then a brief period of general anesthesia (necessary for administering local anesthesia), I was required to be awake for both procedures (under meds to keep me call and relaxed). Recovery was brief and I was alert and aware immediately after without the typical grogginess associated with General Anesthesia, which is how I preferred it this... read more
