I thought I had a first of the day appointment as a new patient at 9 a.m. I heard him down the hall seeing other patients. Assistant had x-rays done, that's fine. When he finally came in (my case is complex) over an hour later past my appointment, I could tell he didn't really want me to be there since I was already seen by someone else. Really disappointed! We went to the office with MRI showing meniscus tear on the right knee. He also requested to do the x- ray and saying x- ray is better than MRI. Since my mom also has left knee pain, we decided to do the x ray on both knee. After x ray when I asked him whether there is also meniscus tear on left knee, he said x ray cannot tell that, we need to do MRI. What a joke! Dr. Williams is hands down the best orthopedic surgeon I have worked with. I have had several orthopedic surgeries over the years including knees, achilles, shoulder, etc. My right knee has given me serious issues the past few years with loss of range of motion, stiffness, pain and swelling. Other doctors just told me that I would just have to deal with the pain and dysfunction until I was ready for a total knee replacement. Dr. Williams found a solution that has had remarkable results. I came to see Dr. Williams for a second opinion and was thoroughly satisfied with my visit. I think what attracts me to Dr. William's personal expertise is his humble spirit. He's also patient and slow to respond. What I mean by slow to respond is that he let me talk about all my issues with my knee and the things I heard or read BEFORE he inserted his professional opinion and recommendation. My 16-year-old daughter broke her collar bone on a Saturday and Dr. Phillips moved his entire schedule around to get her into surgery that week. She had to have two titanium plates and six screws! The surgery went smoothly, and Dr. Williams gave us a complete play by play of what to expect and seemed genuinely concerned that she wasn't in too much pain and that she was healing properly. Highly recommend which turned out to be a joke, told him I used treadmill to get started on loosing weight and since then pain began, he focused ON MY WEIGHT WITH INSULTING TONE, said he could not help me, only did xrays, never bothered to request MRI, cut me off when I spoke. Now seeing professional doctor and the MA, THE TECH AND THE NEW DOCTOR REQUESTED SEVERAL TEST TI HELP. Dr. Williams turned out to be a huge disappointment!!!!!!
Dr. Williams gave me a very clear explanation of my injuries, the treatment, and what to expect for recovery. On top of answering any questions I asked with a great amount of detail, he did all of this with a compassionate affect. Highly recommended.
I highly recommend Dr. Williams after seeing him for a shoulder injury! Starting at the front desk, the receptionists couldn't have been any nicer, attentive and prompt. Dr. Williams is very professional and knowledgeable. The best thing is that he reviewed my case prior, listened very carefully as I explained my injury, and did a thorough strength test before recommending a course of treatment. I felt very informed, comfortable and secure moving forward with surgery.
