In 1993 I had C5-6 spinal fusion using bone donor & a titanium plate to secure. Surgery went well, but I continued to have some pain. Dr Tibbs bedside manner is the BEST. Seven months later the plate had completely broken into. I wouldnt have had anyone else fix the problem. The plate had to be removed as it was causing problems that could turn severe. Dr Tibbs removed the plate & I've done great ever since!! He really is a very intelligent Dr and takes times to explain in plain terms, good or bad, so you know what you're up... read more

Today was my first visit with Dr. Tibbs. He was 3 hours late and minimized the extent of my pain. His staff was agitated that he kept adding more patients to his schedule than could be seen in a normal work day. He said he sees 60 patients a day. Maybe that is the problem. I appreciate that he wants to help as many people as possible however quality of care is much more important than quantity. This clinic feels like public health care at it's worst.

I had surgery on a herniated disk in 2010 and am going back this year for a slipped disk. Yes, Tibbs is hard to get into see but when you do it is worth it. He was very gental with me, he looked through my MRI's and even welcomed my opinion and questions. He showed me where it was herniated and showed me what he was going to do. When I learned that i had to go back I idmmetiatly demanded him and I will always demand him for my problems because I know that he is a wonderful surgeon.

Dr. Tibbs is a wonderful doctor and I believe he has a very kind and gentle manner about him. He is extremely busy but he takes the time to talk to you and look you in the eye and acknowledge you are a person and not just a case!

He was 2 hrs late for appt. then came bouncing in like a manic on steroids. Second sentence out of his mouth was, you don't have cancer and you don't need surgery. He hadn't even looked at the MRI that he demanded I bring on CD. He then skied through the CD at the speed of light and couldn't find what my local Dr.s were talking about. What he said about cancer or surgery was an outright lie since he didn't then or even now do I even have a dx. All I know is that I have a cystic mass the size of a quarter. He said he had grea... read more

I have been seeing Dr. Tibbs for 9 years. He is the best, I have had 2 discectomys and am now having 2 level spinal fusion. I would not think of anyone else doing the surgery. Dr. Tibbs is very nice and has years of experience. I think he is the best doctor around and am very lucky that I am his patient
