23 years ago in Evansville, IN. Dr. Phillipson did a very tedious surgery on me. I had cancer in my Parotid Gland. I credit him with saving my life. The surgery was suppose to take around 5 hours it lasted 9. That was because he took his time to make sure I didn't come out with a paralyzed face. He also did this with a broken foot. Today is my birthday and I was thinking of how many birthdays I have had since that day! Thank you Dr. Phillipson!
Dr Philippsen drilled through my skull 18 years ago, and that's probably the only reason I'm still alive. Cholesteotoma, Mastoidectomy, some other stuff was going on due to a loooooong term ear infeciton... He got me in super fast and performed the surgery for no charge, because I was unemployed, and pretty much screwed. GREAT Doctor. A belated thank you...
Dr. Philippsen put my second set of first long tubes in both my ears in Dec.2012 & he done * A EXCELLENT JOB * I am now going to have to see him again to have 3rd set put in. My primary doctor said he can see where my left ear drum is collapsing & caving in & not sure if there's anything that Dr. Phillippsen can do or if there's any type of re-construction he can do to fix my ear & I do believe it's time for atleast one hearing aid cause I've lost half my hearing do to past childhood & adulthood physical BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA A... read more

I definitely don't trust their advice. They're only concerned about themselves. I was very unimpressed with their level of skill. It seemed like they had just started yesterday. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. Dr. Phillipsen did our daughter's tonsillectomy as well as my thyroid removal. He answered all of our questions, took plenty of time with us, and made us feel very comfortable. Really nice guy, and knows what he's doing. I love that they do ultrasounds right in their office so you get immediate results and don't have to go elsewhere and take the time to wait for the office to call you back with results. They rescheduled a couple of our follow-up appointments, but always with plenty of notice.
