By far the best CHINESE food ever created. Forget the dog food take out places. Sorry, no pun intended. They truly bring real chinese food to the menu. Delicious and chic – This is a great spot, and the food was amazing. A few friends and I ate dinner here a few nights ago, and were highly impressed. The signature drinks were very good. We started with the house salad, which was super fresh and had an amazing vinagrette dressing. I also tried the wonton soup, and was plesantly surprised at how such a simple dish could be so delicious! I have never had a better soup anywhere! Horrible food and service. – Since I've always had a great time at the bar I thought it would be a good idea to have a full dinner. BAD mistake. The lobster sushi was a joke. It was tiny bits of dry rubbery lobster wrapped in thick donut like dough. Gross. And whatever else we ordered was sub par and uneventful. Stay away from the dinning room and stick to the bar scene.
Amazing Food and Spectacular Atmosphere – I love this restaurant so much! The service service was great and the atmosphere is so hot!! The food is great and I love the shark fin soup!
This place has gotten worse and worse ! – Had a very disappointing meal at Philippe last night. Food was not fresh and service was poor. They didn't clean the table before we sat and there were stains on the table cloth and on the plates and utensils. Service was worse than ever. I won't be going back to this place and would not recommend it to my friends.
great amibiance – this place is gorgeous and the food is pretty good too over all i was impressed when my date took me here. i really enjoyed the wines and the dishes that were on the menu. good job!
So Good! – This place was unbelievable ! The service was impeccable, the Lychee Martini's are insatiable and the food is just..... perfect. We had the lettuce wraps, green shrimp, green noodles and lobster rolls..... all in all a wonderful meal!!
Awful: poor food, poor service, high prices – Philippe is simply appalling. The food was subpar: the crispy salmon wasn't crispy. It was, however, overcooked and covered in a sickly-sweet sauce. The velvet chicken, which our server assured us was very spicy, was so bland that we asked for hot sauce on the side to give it some flavor. The only good thing we ate was the chicken satay.
