Had a colonoscopy by this doctor and said I was good for 10 years. 2 years later blood located on stool card. He refused to perform another colonoscopy as he did one 2 years previous and insisted everything was okay. When a colonoscopy was eventually done-stage 3 cancer detected. Tumor located in colon that had permeated colon wall and lymph nodes were cancerous as well. The cancer was not aggressive so had to have been there when he did the colonoscopy 2 years previous. Be very careful.
Other than a 30 minute wait(which if prior patients start to back up then it's understandable) the prep time and start of examination was very expeditious. I did not have sedation and Dr. Hong and his staff were very conscientious in explaining the procedure and answering my numerous questions. Everyone was very courteous and a pleasure to interact with.
