Dr. Philip Chen, was professional, knowledgeable, caring, and very thorough. I would high recommend Dr. Chen as a gastroenterologist.
Dr. Chen saw my mom in clinic and he was extremely understanding- taking the extra time to make sure that she understood the procedure. He is a compassionate and thorough physician, I highly recommend him!

I'm glad to have found Dr. Chen. He takes all the time needed to answer my questions, explain the medical conditions I'm faced with and help me understand how to tackle them. His office staff are friendly and helpful. They're organized and have managed my appointments and billing perfectly. Dr. Chen expertly performed the procedures I needed and I plan to continue in his excellent care.
My colonoscopy went smoothly. Because I chose not to have sedation, I was able to watch the screen throughout the procedure, as Dr. Chen explained his findings thoroughly. Dr. Chen had given me a good understanding of what to expect during the procedure, and my experience matched his description. I know right where I’ll have my next colonoscopy!
From consultation through procedure and post-procedural follow-up, my experience with Dr. Chen and his staff was excellent. Dr. Chen’s knowledge, experience, clinical methodologies, personal demeanor and willingness to proactively walk me through all aspects of my procedure were extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. We saw Dr Hong it almost 7months and he kept telling my husband he was not sick, we went for a 2nd opinion with a different doctor and from just listening to my husband without looking at any films said he thought my husband had pancreatic cancer. Which in fact he did have and Dr Hong had missed the tumor in the original scan
I have had multiple procedures performed by Dr. Hong, both upper and lower gastroenteroscopies, and always felt like I was getting excellent care. Followup was excellent as well, and have always been treated with the utmost respect. This goes for his staff as well.
The only reason we contacted Dr. Eastman was because of the great reviews on Yelp but so far our experience has been pretty sad. My fiancée has been having severe stomach issues for months now and saw the doctor for the first time about 3 weeks ago. She was actually really happy after meeting the doctor and thought he came off very kind, concerned and seemed very interested in helping her. They ordered a couple of tests which were done immediately and records from other doctors which they also
