We had to take our son here in early May. As sad as this situation was (we were up there practically everyday for a week) the staff was professional, warm, & compassionate when we would visit. They answered all of our questions & addressed qll of our concerns. The field is intense, the need for services is high, & sometimes people would rather focus on the negative. They do their best & I will never forget the kindness that they showed to my family.
no beds just plastic chairs pushed together. i had been admitted for a suicide attempt. There was only one phone in the room, it's one of those rotary dial phones on the wall, and it shuts off at around 10 or 11 PM. At night, we either slept on the floor, in a makeshift bed made out of those chairs, or slept on a gym mat or whatever it was.
