Not just a pancake house - breakfast menu had many options! The staff and servers very friendly, making us feel right at home!
Great food!! Staff is friendly...prices are good. That equals success. Will return on my next trip thru Hays.

My first job was at Pheasant Run. I worked weekends there for 2 years. I got to know the staff and owners well, and I had the luck to eat the food every Sat/Sun for breakfast and lunch. The food and the service were fastasic, as you'd expect from the family-run business. I highly recommend you try the peanut butter pancakes or an omelette. Nearly everything is home made and fresh, which is unlike breakfast you can get anywhere else in Hays.

What a 'diamond' in the rough. Breakfast was execellent from the omellette to over easy eggs to the pancakes. Place was pack so it wasn't lightning fast but wasn't too bad. Thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!!
Service was Wonderful; Very Friendly and Welcoming! Delicious Breakfast.... Western Omelet and two eggs over easy with a side of Ham. We really enjoyed the quaint peaceful atmosphere!

Honestly the nicest people I have ever met worked here! We are moving and stopped in for lunch and they were so fabulous and personable!!! If I ever go back to Kansas I will be coming back �
