I recently took my beloved ginger fur boy Seamus to Pharr Road Animal Hospital. The efficient, peaceful atmosphere kept him calm and unafraid. The gentle vet techs and Dr. Bosworth handled Seamus as though he was their own beloved kitty boy. I am impressed with the caring, knowledgeable professionalism. I chose PRAH after doing research on the internet because I needed to find a veterinary clinic closer to my home and one that offered an integrative practice of both holistic and Western treatment modalities.
I would highly recommend Pharr Animal Hospital! We were in Atlanta during an evacuation and our dog was sick and I had no where to take her. When I called the vet they were so welcoming and told us to come right over. Dr. Winokur was amazing and he helped to solve a long term problem that my own vet couldn't even solve, in just one visit! If I lived there, no doubt I would go to Pharr Animal Hospital. The entire staff was a delight to work with and were so kind especially considering the circumstances.
Ana took my call and Dr. Eryn Pogue saw my male cat right away when he developed a urinary obstruction. Dr. Pogue and the entire staff were quick, efficient, and incredibly professional. I was impressed by every aspect of my visit. Dr. Pogue will unquestionably be my new primary vet.
I can't believe I didn't go to Pharr Road sooner! They were all around wonderful. I'm a long time pet owner and foster parent. With my own and the fosters, I have seen SO MANY different vets. I have never had this wonderful of a vet visit. I was looking for holistic care for my sport dog, and left with the holistic care I was looking for and so much more! Looks like I'll be making the 45 minute drive for all of my furchildren from now on!
I cannot recommend Pharr Road Animal Hospital enough. They take care of my dog Juno and my cat Sadie. It is relatively easy to make appointments, rather than being told "we can't get you in until Thursday" and it is only Monday morning, which is something no pet owner wants to hear. The people at the front desk when you walk in make you feel welcomed and Dr. Eryn Pogue takes the time with you and your pet in the exam room to make sure that all your questions and concerns have been answered. Dr. Colman is a true rockstar and took excellent care of my Chocolate Lab by performing a needed surgery. He is one of the few vets that I know that has both the medical expertise and the personality to communicate with the family members. He never rushes his clients, always explains everything about your animal's care and follow-up and is a talented diagnostician. Dr. Sasher and the staff were interested, thoughtful, thorough as well as kind in their care of my dogs and of me, answering all my concerns and questions. I am grateful.
After my husband and I moved back to Atlanta from the burbs, I had to find a new vet and Pharr Road Animal Hospital was referred to me and we love them! We use Dr. Pogue for our sweet dog and 2 kitties and she is a great partner in their health care. She is patient and kind and I trust her completely. I also love their long hours (open until 7 during the week) and the friendliness of all of their staff. And the pricing always seems fair and is explained very clearly. They are all-around awesome!
Dr. Paschal has been amazing in helping take care of my aging Golden Retriever. Her bedside manner with me as an owner exceeded my expectations. I recommend her to anyone who needs a great vet for their fur babies!
