I was very impressed with Dr. Dowell. She took quite a bit of time with me and explained, in detail, what she saw and what she thought was happening with me. Together we decided the course of action we would take at this time. She was pleasant, spoke with my husband and myself as equals, and was a joy to engage with. I highly recommend her.
Everyone is friendly. I appreciate that Dr Dowell takes notes and ask questions. This shows that she listens and is engaged. I also appreciate that she gives me her hand written thoughts to close each check-up.
Dr Dowell is a wonderful doctor! She is everything you want in a doctor. She is on time. She takes her time with you. She follows though on everything! I really like her and the staff!
My mother sees Dr. Dowell for injections for muscle cramping from a stroke 6 years ago. First, I am so grateful this therapy is available as my mother was in severe pain. The treatment has totally eliminated her cramping and pain. Dr. Dowell warms the room for her with a space heater. She explains what she is doing and answers our questions so we understand the procedure. We are confident with her ability and knowledge.

I sensed from the beginning that Dr. Dowell listened to my concerns, helped me narrow the diagnosis, and work a plan to assist my needs. I am very pleased with her knowledge and care.
had heard how much all her patients thought she was great and after 1 visit I have to agree. She spent about 2 hours with me answering all my questions, made me feel very comfortable.Spoke in terms I could understand without making me feel like she was talking down to me.
I have never spent such a long time with a physician nor had a more though examination. Dr. Dowell spent well over an hour evaluating my condition, asked lots of questions and very systematically reviewed my symptoms. She is a very pleasant person with great bed side manners. I was originally referred to St. Lukes but due to a snafu on St. Lukes part, I ended up with Dr. Dowell for which I feel very fortunate!
