Great Animal Care Dr. Thornburg is a great vet! He treats my cat Molly like a diva everytime I bring her in!! No, he does not always speak or smile at you but he takes great care of my baby and that's what matters to me most. Thanks Petworth Animal Hospital!!!
SIMPLY THE BEST I have been taking the family feral cat to Petworth for 13 years. I travel 100 Miles Roundtrip. The Doctor and the Staff are the "BEST" God Bless Petworth!! Semper Fi!!
I thinks it's just his way Yes the Doctor may be rude, but he is also very good at what he does. It's just not to the customer or pet that he has a very stern attitude with, he seems to treate his wife and employees the same way. I think it just may be his way. For the quality of work and care, along with the price, Ive learned to have a vert thick skin.
Apaw better then world class luxury I never been at this hospital but I wanted to share my expierence with apaw hospital service located on Goodluck Road just down for doctors hospitl. My pet has been going there for several years and they have professional service they know me and my pet. But when I stand in the lobby there is no waiting they are quick to get you and your pet taken care of. They tell what they going to do and call you through out the day giving updates. Apaw good job
No RATING - BEYOND RUDE!! I have been going to this place well should be 10 years but stopped 4 years ago trying my best to support him. I went when I first got my baby and my dog was handle with care. Every year service by the doctor has gotten extremely RUDE to my dog. My dog is nervious when he comes, I'm was trying to calm him down and Doc yells at ME. NOT ME!! Do that to someone who know You! Now I've been force to go to Friendship and LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE IT!!
HORRIBLE! The doctor was rude and appeared to be bothered by the fact that he had to deal with my dog. He cut her nails too short and didn't answer any of my questions. The cost was low- but you get what you pay for. I refuse to ever go back.
OK care, not great service Vet has generally given good care to our cat.
Very competent vet You don't get coddled at Petworth, and you won't like Doc, but he is a good vet and affordable, which is rare these days. He has worked with rescue groups for decades, spaying/neutering hundreds of cats over a weekend. Most of the negative comments seemed to be aimed at his bedside manner and clinic, not his abilities. He is a very intuitive and competent vet, he just won't have a lot to say to you.
I liked his services My mini pincher was very ill with a condition. After calling around to a few vets, the quotes I got was $2,000+ I was referred to this vet and took her in. The place was clean and tidy. The vet may not have bed side manners, neither do some ordinary doctors, but he was very professional and has a wealth of knowledge.
