I shop at Pet Smart Largo and spend $400 - $500 monthly. The staff is kind and the assistant lady manager is great. I do have a complaint though. A big one. Recently policy changes were made by Rich and Randy, Distict mgr and store mgmt limiting adoption hours during the week to 5pm. 5 pm is when the majority of the adopting public gets out of work. This is a bad move on 2 fronts. Less animals get adopted!!! And adoptors usually spend money buying food and products. I adopted and spent $150 on scratching posts bed toys food.... read more

I was there with my friend who was shopping for fish & aquarium accessories, so I was merely an observer. We showed up 10 minutes before they were scheduled to close, we get it was Saturday night and work was probably the last place they wanted to be - however, they were there.... our entire experience was rather rushed.... at one point we asked the clerk who was hurrying us along a question and his response was - "ah I don't know, I don't normally work here, I'm just helping out for a few hours". Very disappointing!
Dennis, the pet trainer and evaluator was great! We really recommend him for any of your dog training needs. He's really a master at what he does!
