I've been taking my doberman pup to PetSmart to get her nails dremeled for a little over a year, since she was 3 months old. We've had a great experience with all the girls who have serviced her and I would give them all five stars. This review is set at a three-star because of the groomer Iris. If I was just reviewing her it would be a 1 star rating. Iris has done my pups nails twice now and its been a disaster both times. I don't know if she's afraid or just not good with dogs in general. Petsmart When we adopted out four legged baby this was the first place we went to stock up on everything we needed. As it tured out it was the only pet store we needed to go to to find everything we needed! It's got it all...even a vet! Wow, I couldn't ask for more.
Horrible grooming experience! I took my cocker spaniel puppy in for their $14.99 puppy special and when I got him back...he looked like a poodle. I am so upset all they did was shave his paws and left the rest of his fur long and barely trimmed!! He looks ridiculous! So this is a warning to anyone who is thinking about taking their puppy there for his/her first trim...if you want your puppy to stay cute with the kind of cut that belongs to his/her breed, do NOT TAKE YOUR PUPPY THERE!!!
Large selection for pets & pet lovers This store has pretty much everything you need for your pet whether it's a dog, cat, hamster, lizard, bird, or fish. I got all my aquarium supplies here for a very reasonable cost, although overall I wouldn't say their prices are "low". There are also some gifts for pet-lovers too. The only thing I don't like about the store is that it's always so busy and sometimes it's hard to get hold of an associate to ask where something is. You have no inventory of products.
Just purchased a gentle leader today online for pick up. Online the size is wrong so the collar is too tight on my pups muzzle. I called customer service and advised we are quarantined and didn’t know since the next size up is priced the same if the store could just swap out the one that’s too small for the next size up curbside. They advised that shouldn’t be a issue. I called and talk to this stores manager Kelly, she advised me in store price is 32.99. They don’t follow county guidelines for wearing masks. Another employee didn’t have one on at all and they don’t enforce customers to wear one. When I ask her to cover her nose with her mask, she refused.
A close friend encountered this at his local PetsMart and I am outraged. This friend has been through underlying health issues. As someone who has respiratory problems myself, and as someone who recovered from COVID I am deeply disturbed by this picture. I don’t care what the reasoning is for this young lady to not wear her mask correctly. If PetsMart wants my business, corporate needs to make sure this doesn’t happen again.
