I do not bring my dogs there to be groomed and after what I saw today I will talk anyone out of going there unless they can have someone compassionate to show the groomers how to handle dogs... I saw this poor sheepdog getting groomed and they tried to pull out a big clump of matted hair by its ears! PULL NOT SHAVE! They had so many spots that was shaved to the skin that was all red... they pulled and pulled on that poor dog.. So sad! Please get compassionate employees to do the grooming...
For the most part, I don't mind shopping at PetSmart in Woodbury, but I won't bring my little dog back to be groomed there anymore. In June, part of the pads on one of her paws was shaved off while she was groomed there. Thinking it was an isolated incident, I brought her back two days ago, and somehow, a nail was torn away from the skin. Two different groomers, two different incidents. I'll be taking my dog elsewhere from now on.
