Pets of Portage is an awesome place. I have went there to ask many questions about my pets before taking them to the vet. They saved me money. Jeri and Cheyenne are awesome. Jeri did the right thing with peanut. Give her a break. She is very caring.

If you really did not give Michelle her dog back then you can't be a very good place. I hope if its true you do the right thing by her and give her pet back.
So you steal someone's pet to basically sell it for profit... You argue with individuals who give you less than a 5 star review--y'all sound like real winners. I'll make sure to have people stay clear of your business.
My friend basically had her dog stolen from this business. I find it very disturbing that a PET STORE takes in stray animals that people bring in instead of telling them to take them to a shelter or a veterinarian which should be the correct thing to do. If people are bringing in strays to you that could be just lost pets that come from a good home you are probably going to either turn around and sell them to someone else, try and sell them back to the owner or adopt them yourselves and tell the actual owner that they ran aw... read more
Very poor service. Careful what anyone buys from here. I contacted the news about this place they are going to launch an investigation.
Purchased two Guinea pigs for my son's birthday. Everything we needed was readily available and well-priced. The Guinea pigs were clean and well taken care of, as well as friendly. Thank you for your excellent customer service and concern for animals.

I went to the pets of portage to have my baby Guinea pigs sexed and I was told there was one male so I said okay and believed them... I put the "females" in with the females and guess what more babies!!! I am very mad because I was told that I needed to stop breeding and I was going to but I can't stop breeding if people don't know how to sex them. Last time I will trust a pet store to help with that I did better myself.
