RecommendedI was incredibly pleased with my experience with petroglyph animal Hospital. It was a time to put my 21 yr old kitty Deja to sleep. They were able to get me in promptly and they made a very difficult process so much easier. The care package and paw prints that came with his ashes were beautiful! ❤️❤️I am very grateful for PAH!

They’re really good with my dog, who’s IMPOSSIBLE.
I’ve been coming here for years but I’m going to have to switch. It consistently takes 30 mins to an hour for them to see you AFTER your appointment time. Then after you’ve been seen it takes way too long to get checked in and then checked out. They are polite and apologize for the wait , but I can’t afford to spend 2+ hours at the vet each time I go.
My dog was seen with NMDOG for his back legs and awhile back during covid on a saturday he had a fox tail in his ear and they came to the rescue. Then yesterday my dog had the worst emergency ever (to me ) she jumped up and nipped at our neighbors dog and got a huge gash on her face. She needed stitches and I live all the way in rio rancho, my regular vet left already and I couldnt find anyone to take in my dog. Petroglyph saved the day. I used to love this place. But every now and then they disappoint. Every time I call, there’s a five minute hold. Whoever answers the phones is not friendly at all. Too much attitude. I had to reschedule an appointment for a nail trim and she said they couldn’t see him till Aug 15. All for a nail trim. That’s weeks away. Yes, I could do it myself but he has black nails and it’s hard to see. Oh well, I’ll find another place. And maybe even vet care for all my animals.
There are no words to describe the love and gratitude that my family and I will forever have for the wonderful, caring staff here at Petrogylph Animal Hospital. They helped us through the most horrible experience of our lives, with grace and compassion. I have never felt love for an animal like I did for Sir Oliver and the staff felt it too and treated all of us like family. Sir Oliver will be dearly missed.
