Alternative to Petrie's - try Thrillz Gifts Try Thrillz Gifts over in Daphne - similar store to Petrie's at the mall in Mobile. The workers there are exceptional and will go out of their way to help their customers. My stars are for Thrillz, not Petrie's.
Petrie I absolutely adore this store! I have 4 kids, 3 of which are girls and I can get all kinds of accessories, bows, gifts, etc. At AWESOME prices. I have met the manager and several other employees, and I can only say that the other reviews must have really had bad days. The employees, were more than helpful, and the manager was a very friendly lady who offered assistance more than once. A MUST SHOP store for anyone with young girls!
Rude workers also in Dubai I agree that very often workers are very rude in some shops and supermarkets also in Dubai where normally the service is good. I though workers were kind in Dubai but not always. There are people from different part of the world here but this is not an excuse for being rude with customers. BAD WORKERS Worst workers!! They offered no help and were very rude! Upon checking out the GIRL never even said a word to me. Not a Hello, Not a Thank you. NOTHING!!!! Like I made her mad to get off her stool while she was playing on her phone to help me. I have been in this store several times and I have never once had someone be nice to me.
Great little gifts. This great little store in the Colonial Mall is wonderful. They sell the cutest little trinkets. I found some silver shoe charms there once that you attach to your shoe laces. My daughter loved those. They also carry earrings, necklaces, cute little purses and containers and frames that you can get your name painted on. Lots of great "stocking stuffers". They have really good prices too. PROS: Unique gifts CONS: None
customer service i m a seamstress and also custom make items such as petries carries....i believe in great customer service brings back repeated business but not once did they say hello how are you...can i help you...kiss my butt...etc...i m surprised that this store is still open if you think they have great prices then you really need to check out my friends shop in grand bay called....kountry stitchin its off hwy 188...we do custom bows...outfits....keychains...monogramming...anything you want and we dont have we can make... read more
As most of the other comments customer service SUCKS! As most of the comments on this page the customers service SUCKS! I bought a lap table for my niece and wanted to get her name on it. The lady who i assume was the manager wrote on it with a paint pen that my 5 year old could of written better. It was horrible, I had seen the sticker that you could put on things with a name she never offered that on their when i told her that it looked horrible she just looked at me. Cute local shop! Petries is one of the best shops at the Mobile mall! They offer lots of jewelry, purses (which they can put your name on!), bulletin boards, chairs, buckets...anything you want that is glittery, golden, fluffy, and painted; check out Petries! The store is very kid-friendly, and offers many gifts that would be perfect for the upcoming holiday season! The staff is always willing to help! Monograming can be done at a small addition fee, and is usually ready the next business day!
