Great girly store This is a great store with all kinds of gift ideas. I purchased an entire set of luggage for my daughter which is unique and different. When traveling, it helps to be able to quickly identify your bags. Each piece was very affordable and good quality. We love this store and recommend it to anyone looking for cute gifts. Very rude employees I agree that the employees do need to take a course on how to treat customers. The employees are very rude.
The people that work at this store need a serious attitude check!!!! I just left from this store in Colonial mall and I have never received such terribly awful customer service. Especially when the woman I had this encounter with said that she was the manager. I mean what kind of example are you setting for your employees when you yourself are this rude to customers. Are you kidding me? I visited Petrie's Bel Air Mall store for the very first time today, and I am sorry to say that I had one of the worst retail experiences ever. I was looking for something very specific, even bringing the items I was trying to match. I glanced around the store and, not seeing what I needed right off hand, decided to ask the TWO ladies behind the counter for help. One girl, the younger one, ignored me completely. Worst Customer Service Ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This store needs to be shut down. They sold me a rhinestone necklace and earrings that were defected!!! All I wanted was an exchange and the girl I spoke to refused to exchange my necklace set and she had a NASTY attitude. She does not need to work with the public AT ALL!! consuner I am from Louisiana. While I loved the store and its setup, I found the employees very non-chalant about helping their customers. The two young ladies did nothing out of their way to help me and my 3 daughters. The oolder gentleman whom I am assuming is the owner didn't even speak. CUSTOMER SERVICE I feel the same way that many of these people feel. The items that are sold in the store are great but the customer service sucks. I work in retail as well and customer service boost sales it also insures that shrink is low. A store as small as Petrie's it should be easy for employees to at least greet customers if nothing else.
Manager with bad attitude and offers no help!! I shopped at the Colonial mall store. The manager at this store has an "I don't care" attitude. I purchased a nap mat and got home to find it was torn. When I spoke with the manager she kinda laughed and said "well you can exchange it...I mean I could replace it for you" Why would I exchange for another mat that tears so easily?
