wish I didn’t have to even give one star for this review. My husband went in for surgery for removal of part of his colon and bladder. The surgery was suppose to take 2 hours and ended up being 5 hours. During that time not one person came out to tell me why it was taking so long or what was going on. After 5 hours Dr Peterson came out and told me that after they stitched him up that he had a feeling that he should go back in. I mean, what surgeon has a feeling and reopens a patient?! Great doctor! He removed my gallbladder Thursday and he just has this energy he gave off that made me happy and I felt like he cared about how I was feeling, I highly recommend him
Explained in detail how the hernia surgery would go. very straightforward in yet very good bed side manners as well.
Dr. Peterson and his assistant listened to me as I explained my symptoms. They didn't try to convince me that an ovarian cyst was what was causing all my problems. Dr. Peterson fit me into his surgery schedule quickly.
He did a great job and was personable and friendly!
To be completely honest I saw him for about 5 minutes at my initial appointment (more time spent with the PA, he's a surgeon so he's busy) and then maybe 5 minutes before the surgery... He was knowledgeable and kind during our brief interaction. That being said, my surgery went great and I'm healing well so I would call that a win.
He was very kind and compassionate and so was his staff. He explained things in a way that I could understand.
Dr. Peterson and his staff were very knowledgeable about the procedure and explained what was going to happen very well. They sent me home with information about how to prepare for surgery and what to expect after surgery. They handled all the requirements with my insurance company.
Dr. Peterson did a great job of explaining the procedure and everything to expect after the procedure.
