Very nice nurses and doctors that try their best even if they're overworked and understaffed.
Had a wonderful experience at the hospital today this was my first time visiting Peterborough hospital I had to head into emergency and the wait was long but in all honesty it could of been a lot longer, the staff there was truly amazing all of them were so kind and professional, they were quick to get things done and make sure everyone was as comfortable as they could be, you could clearly tell they were being pushed to the max but they kept there composure and handled things so well more then happy with my visit today
Overall awful experience's here, with 8+ hour wait times. The psych unit is nightmare of a time, clueless nurses who refuse simple care, which caused my injuries to be worse than they needed to be. Will not be back if possible.
I appreciate what the staff do there and I know it must be a tiring job but I wasted my day there 7 hours later I had had enough, it was estimated I would be waiting another 5 hours I am having horrible chest and abdominal pain and I couldn’t continue to sit in their uncomfortable chairs surrounded by sick individuals. I cannot believe this is our healthcare system. Wild.
This place is amazing. The doctors and nurses are awesome. The energy amongst the staff is very positive regardless what the condition of the patients they are serving. It's like heaven for sick people here. They've worked hard to fix me enough to have another day to battle my addition. This combined with the RAAM service has been life changing. Keep in mind, PRHC is a regional hospital serving a huge area. Wait times will vary, which drives me nuts listening to people complaining about slow service. For those types: maybe y... read more
