☆☆☆☆ This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff gave me no warm welcome at all. When I arrived, I had my credit card with me, but I couldn’t remember the PIN for the security deposit. Instead of trying to help or offering any alternative solution, they simply refused to cooperate. The receptionist was also not friendly or understanding. The hotel is dated but I honestly found that charming. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast used real dishware which was a nice change from the disposable plates you get at most chains. The staff were very nice and the location was perfect to walk to restaurants and parks. The gym was kinda lame and I bet the place gets loud on the weekends being right downtown but we had a really excellent stay. Closer to 4.5 but I guess you can't leave half stars :)
Comfortable and affordable stay in a historic downtown building. The room had everything we needed, and the free continental breakfast was a nice touch.
The charm of this hotel really stands out. It’s not a generic place, which we loved. Great location and very reasonable pricing.
