Dr Zakow and his staff came to see me daily after my triple bypass and valve replacement surgery. He spent the time necessary to explain my questions and concerns. The staff was very attentive and made me feel at ease. I received great care from a professional team!

Dr Zakow is fantastic! He did triple bypass on my husband and after surgery he or one of his PA's were constantly checking on him to make sure he was doing well. Very attentive, friendly and takes time with his patients . Office staff are great as well.
Dr. Zakow, Dr. Chan, Missy, Sue, and the entire staff at Catawba-Piedmont Cardiothoracic is wonderful and super great to work with. They offer excellent customer care and service. My surgery was totally unexpected and they made me and my wife feel comfortable and at ease through the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of cardiac care. Thank you to the entire team!
I am so sorry I am late with this...Dr. Zakow did my double bypass almost a year ago...I have nothing but good things to say about this doctor....he really cares about you and does all he can to help you...I would recommending him to family and friends in a heart beat...I was very impressed with the care I got not only from Dr. Zakow but the staff and nurses...they were all wonderful...thank you Dr Zakow and all the staff at Vassar...
