Dr Thomas is my hero! He put my shattered wrist back together after an out of country accident. He is the consummate professional; timely but never rushes through an appointment; and very thorough in his explanations. It was a complicated procedure but he was great during the entire process.
All visits are timely, informative and professional. Dr. Thomas & staff are caring & compassionate as to patients needs & questions are answered in layman’s terms. Dr. Thomas called the day after procedure to see how I was doing. 36 days out from thumb procedure & physical therapy 90% usage of hand has returned. Top kudos to Dr. Thomas and his staff.

I had a distal radius fracture and ulnar fracture. Dr Thomas performed my surgery. He was thorough, succinct and made time for questions. Good bedside manner. I went to PT for 8 weeks post surgery and when I went back for my post op visits, he seemed to have already read all the notes from my PT. I would definitely recommend him and OrthoVA. I had a good experience overall.
He takes time to explain your diagnosis. He answers questions. Don't rush to cut but five options. His notes in the portal are.exceptional for your review
I was very pleased with the efficient service I received from Dr. Thomas and his staff. I went to have something minor checked out but would certainly see Dr. Thomas again if needed.
I recently saw Dr Thomas for a sprain to my finger. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and thorough. I chuckled because of all the acronyms and medical terminology he used as he examined my hand and finger. The visit was brief and he recommended occupational therapy, which I will follow up on.
Dr. Peter Thomas is superlative. I am extremely confident in his expertise, and he is very patient and thorough in explaining all processes and answering all questions. He is the best!
